Midtown Miami

This is where it all started. Chef Angelo Masarin, Graziano Sbroggio, and Carlo Donadoni opened Salumeria 104 on NE 1st Avenue in 2011, a small trattoria built around the food Angelo grew up with in northern Italy. He started in Milan kitchens at seventeen and cooked in rooms like Harry's Bar and La Locanda Cipriani before bringing all of it to Miami, and you can still taste that training in everything this kitchen sends out.

Fifteen years later the original room runs the same way it did on day one. The salumi still leads the menu, the pasta is rolled that morning, and the wine list stays loyal to the north. The neighborhood grew up fast around us, with Wynwood and the Design District a short walk in either direction, but the trattoria stayed the constant in the middle of it.
